Between running around the airports, dodging douchebags and making sure your shit's on time and where it's supposed to be and getting caught in long lines and crying children and apathetic workers and the occasional person wanting to take a picture (but mostly just with Andy), it was all quite the bummer.Read My Mind. 1 by Yellowfur
Quite the bummer. "Quite the bummer" was another phrase that Akiva had picked up at one of their latest press events for Incredibad. Usually a fan used some random phrase or word and then he used it endlessly for a few days, and then stopped and picked up something new a couple weeks later, with a few phrases sharing the attention in the spot in between. It was like being in major relationships with a few months of random dating in between.
Akiva had a more varied vocabulary than he did a love life.

And Andy's latest shtick was excessive purple prose. A

Over the years, I've had many moments like that. Most of them triggered by another failed drawing, a total lack of inspiration (while I needed to get creative work done --nothing more annoying than that!), or another harsh critique that was just a bit too much to handle, at that particular moment.
I've had many times that I doubted myself. There have been times when I questioned my creativity in general. Times when I was sad about just another harsh critique, or depressed for being turned down by another group or publisher. Times when I got angry and shouted that I wanted to quit art altogether.
But eventually, I never quit.
The point is... no matter how angry or sad I am, it always takes me a while to calm down and
